Bakery Policies

Please review our bakery policies before placing your order. These ensure every custom treat is made with care, delivered on time, and meets your expectations. 💕

🍪 1. Order Policy

  • All orders must be placed at least 5–7 days in advance.
  • One-day orders (simple birthday cakes) must be placed by 8:00 am for same-day pickup. Please call — we’ll do our best to help!
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order; the balance is due at pickup or delivery.
  • Orders are confirmed only after payment is received.

🎂 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable once your order is confirmed.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before pickup are subject to full payment.
  • Refunds are not issued for custom orders once baking or decorating has begun.

🧁 3. Pickup / Delivery Policy

  • Pickup is available in Waterloo and Cambridge at a scheduled time.
  • Please arrive on time — your cooperation helps us serve everyone smoothly 😘
  • Delivery within KWC and surrounding areas is available for an additional fee.
  • Maison de Treats is not responsible for damages once the order has left our premises.

🍰 4. Allergy & Product Disclaimer

All our treats are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, and soy. While we take great care, cross-contamination may occur. Maison de Treats cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

💳 5. Payment Policy

  • Payments can be made via e-transfer (maisondetreats@gmail.com), cash, or credit card.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is received.
  • Prices may change based on fair market rates.

📸 6. Photography & Social Media Policy

Maison de Treats reserves the right to photograph and post pictures of our products on social media or our website. Client names or details will never be shared without permission.

🧾 7. Privacy Policy

Any personal information (such as name, phone number, or address) shared with Maison de Treats is kept strictly confidential and used only for order-related communication.
